Got to play around the Milk Paint again, love the results I got with this piece. I added a little Extra Bond to the paint so I wouldn't get too much chipping. I wanted some, but not an all over chippy. It was painted in a mixture of Sea Green & Buttermilk with a dark glaze and poly for protection.
This was an old stereo cabinet that my husband
removed all the old electronics from. One cabinet door is operable for
storage, top lifts up for more storage. We decided to leave the mess
sides in place but painted them with oil rubbed bronze. I think it would be great as an entry piece or a buffet in a kitchen nook or smaller dinning room.
Dimensions: 42" l x 28"t x 18 1/4" deep. Cost: $250
Have a great day!

Updated pieces
We have been busy with doing custom work and a few pieces in between the custom jobs. Just wanted to take the time to post some pictures of some of the pieces we've done lately.
Currently we are working on a dresser that will have a stained top and will be turning a headboard & footboard into a bench.

What's New?!?
We're so excited to launch our new blog
layout! With the new look of Secondhand Charm comes some exciting
changes that we hope you'll all enjoy!
We think the most exciting news is that we are now accepting custom work on a limited basis, WOOT WOOT! Limited means that we still want to have time to refinish the unique pieces we find along the way, so we'll probably only accept a couple of items a week. You can find all the details on this on our Custom Refinishing page on the blog.
Secondly, we are now accepting credit cards and Paypal. We feel this will be easier for you guys instead of having to run to the bank and grab the cash. Of course we'll still accept the dough if that's how you want to pay.
Please take a look around the blog and the new pages that detail our policies and more details on the custom refinishing.
Any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us.
Thanks for all your loyal support over the last few years, we look forward to many more!
